Mrs. Nikki Foster has been in education since 2010. As an Aldine ISD high school graduate, Nikki knew that Aldine ISD was her home. As a result, she began working as an Aldine ISD substitute while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston-Downtown. In May 2012, Nikki graudated Cum Laude from UHD. That same year, Nikki began her teaching career as a second grade teacher in Aldine ISD. Since then, Nikki has taught in various grade levels including Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Montessori (a blended classroom with Pre-Kindergarten 3, Pre-Kindergarten 4, and Kindergarten). Nikki is currently holds certifications in EC-6 Generalist, ESL supplemental, Early Childhood Montessori, and Gifted and Talented. Additionally, Nikki is a certified Google Educator, certified Clever Teacher, an Apple Teacher with portfolio recognition, and is a certified Apple Learning Coach.
Due to being a lifelong learner, Mrs. Foster decided to return to school to pursue a Masters degree. In May 2022, she graduated from the University of St. Thomas with academic honors and recieved her Masters in Educational Leadership. Nikki plans to return to UST as she pursues her doctorate in Strategic Leadership.
Although Nikki wears numerous hats on her campus, she also plays an important role at home. Nikki is a wife, mother to four children, Disney vacation planner, and a small business owner. She often jokes about the chaos of having three children under three years of age, but she handles it with grace and remains passionate about making a difference for her family, students, and the community.
