Role of COVID-19 on Student Academic Outcomes
As part of my coursework in being a M.Ed Canidate, I had the privilege of learning how to properly conduct Mixed Methods Action Research, or MMAR. MMAR consists of very in-depth research from all viewpoints and provides results that are unbiased and factual.
M.Ed Candiates were able to choose any topic that interested them. I chose to resesarch how Covid affected students. As an educator, I saw how Covid-19 affected staff members, but I wanted to see the true affects that Covid-19 had on students. I specifically chose to research how Covid affected primary grade level students becuase primary grades lay the foundation for a child's education.
